Alive and well

With the end of the school year in early May and the start of the summer also came a many changes here in Boulder. A new place to live, a new roommate, quiting a thesis, starting a new thesis, a new bike - several things to keep me on my toes. It has also been simmering here, feeling like the 90s everyday. The main highlights of June, besides turning the good ole 2-5, were separate visits from sQ! Shara and Lauren, fresh from the shackles of Tufts University, and a semi-Bromfield reunion.

Shara and Lauren came in beginning of June. We took a trip up to Steamboat Springs (it snowed) up the Strawberry Springs, some pretty sweet natural hot springs. I would highly recommend them. I also got my first professional massage, including a Watsu massage, a water massage. I would write all about it, but this blog is PG-13 rated, for the kids. Call me and I'll fill you in...We also went townie-karaoke and hiking up in Estes Park. My best vacation yet in Colorado, so thank you ladies. Good luck with job hunts.

The last weekend in June, Jocey, Kate, and Steve blessed me with their presence and I had them do the standard and quite historic tour of the greater Boulder area: Dushanbe Teahouse, Coors tour, Celestial Seasonings Tour, Illegal Pete's, Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. We also hit Bacaro's bottomless sangria night, highly recommended. $6 bottomless glass Fridays from 8-10pm. A solid way to start my quarter century mark.

Oh, and this is my new housemate Dave. He keeps me amused with his witty banter and penchant for hamburgers and nothing else.
